Day 43 and boy am I tired...
I decided that my legs are losing their curve and strength so I need to up the weights and intensify the training. So, today was a leg day and I hadn't realized how long it has been since I lifted like a mad woman. Today's workout:
Walking lunges - 3 sets, alt,. light (35 lb barbell) and heavy (75 lb barbell) weight
Squats - 3 sets: 135, 185, 225 lbs
Standing Leg Curl - 3 sets
one leg deadlift
step ups (35lbs dumbbells)
Cardio! Interval Training (20 minutes)
Front/Zercher squats: 5 sets, 8-10 reps (65 lbs)
donkey kicks (side and rear)
My legs are toast! But it feels so good! I'm about to eat again, a bit of oatmeal and some protein before bed. Tomorrow is going to be upper body work. I haven't decided what yet.

Day 21, 22, 23
OMG it's been hectic with multiple family emergencies! Sinnamon, please let me know of the specific titles of the Mari Winsor pilates dvd's you said would be good for me. Keepin' it short cuz I missed a few days blogging...
Day 22 weigh-in: I'm happy to report another 3 lb loss for a total 6 lb loss with the 365dayeffort !!!
Day 21 meals:
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, some hash brown, 1 strip bacon
Lunch: 1/2 cheeseburger w/lettuce & tomato, small bit of fries
Dinner: salad, chicken & brown rice casserole w/carrots
Day 21 exercise:
several hours of dancing with the baby (they're still working on the floors), baby lifts
Day 22 meals:
Breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: (with Sinnamon!) 1/2 order of shrimp w/broccoli, 1/2 container of Chinatown-style noodle soup with shrimp, 1 packet Chinese noodles for soup, 1/2 Snapple Madness (normally I don't mention drinks but this is a sugary one so it should be listed
Dinner: chicken w/brown rice casserole
Day 22 exercise:
ab work
moving, lifting
Day 23 meals:
Breakfast: scrambled eggs, hash browns
Lunch: chicken w/lots of brown rice casserole, 1/2 of the top of a hamburger bun that had some tomato sauce soaked in it (does it need to make sense?)
Dinner: TJ's chicken-less nuggets w/ honey mustard sauce, sweet potato bakes
Snack: some clementine slices, steel-cut oats
Day 23 exercise:
ab work
moving, lifting
dancing for a good amount of time
Day 24, 25
Ok, so TOM is here and that means a bit of bloating and a salt craving, with a side of pressure headache and lethargy. Hubby doing good keeping the sodium down - found low-sodium taco seasoning and it was very good, I didn't miss the extra salt and my salt craving was still satisfied. I had originally planned to go bawls out for Taco Night being that it coincides with TOM, but we're spending the day at my mom's Saturday and surely ordering in, so that will be my cheat day instead. Mamaduke is in no way eating healthy, lol.
Day 24 meals:
Breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: chicken & brown rice casserole, salad w/roasted red peppers, beets and cheddar
Dinner: salad, whole wheat pasta
Snack: nuts, clementine, chips with salsa con queso, teensy bit of popcorn
Day 24 exercise:
ab work
3 sets of 8 reps arm work; curls, butterflies, out, up, down, circles, basically every direction.
Day 25 meals: (Taco Night)
Breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: chicken & brown rice casserole (how much did he make??), TJ's crunchy oat & honey granola bar, hot chocolate
Dinner: 2 ground turkey tacos (shells, meat & toppings all from TJ's)
Snack: nuts, clementine, extra cheddar
Day 25 exercise:
ab work
