Day 24

Good evening... Lol. I thought about quitting. Yesterday I did thought about it. But today, I had a decent workout and even ran a little bit. I'm not ready to quit yet. The workouts, however.,don't feel the same. They feel a little mundane. Ordinary. Plain. Maybe I need to find something to shake it up. I'm dying to try hot yoga.. Soon hopefully.

Anyways, today I wa a bit tired since I had been up since a little before 7. I got to the gym a little late, but I made it. Today's workout:

30 minutes on the bike
20 minutes of ab work
pull ups (assisted pull up machine)
lat pull downs (for strength)
20 minutes of interval running

Dammit! I just remembered that I forgot to stretch after the gym. Guess who will be doing yoga tomorrow morning. Oy..
I was a little off with the food today:

breakfast- light English muffin with egg and cheese and veggie sausage
lunch - Mexican burrito! I overdid it a bit
dinner - tuna fish and one slice of bread
snack - oatmeal with soymilk, craisins and almonds

well folks, that's it for me. G'Night...

I'm glad you didn't quit, I knew you'd rethink it and now it's about figuring out how to get some variety. How was your yoga this morning? Nice new pic, Sinnamon, or should I call you "Lady Hourglass"? lol ... Was going to grab the cans of Campbells' soup for lifting on my way to Trader Joe's but they only had the 4-pack and I knew it would be too much combined with the 2 heavy bags of TJ's I always walk out with. Got the usual good stuff from TJ's but held back on too many red meats, salty things and snacks.

Day 3 Exercise: only the carrying of my breastpump bag (heavy!) and the two heavy bags of groceries, several blocks to the train, through the station at 42nd, and several blocks out the station to home. Walked briskly. Held the abs in where possible.

Day 3 Meals:
Breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: 1/2 bacon egg cheese sandwich with top bread removed, tomato soup with veggies, mixed greens salad with beets egg and what I thought was plain feta and turned out to be tofu
Dinner: the fish didn't defrost! & it was getting late from me grocery shopping so we ordered in - I had a small portion of chicken parm with ziti, 6 olives and almost 1/2 garlic bread.
Snacks: nuts. and. unfortunately after the baby was asleep the husband brought out a slice of chocolate cake with milk (I didn't realize he ordered that as well and with it right in front of me I gave in to having some of it, figuring I limited my usual dinner/sides). I also reminded him (including when we were first figuring out what to order) that this Was Not being very supportive! lol
