Day 51. Hmm... 51 days at it, and I'm still alive and kicking. I will say I'm getting a little bored with the gym. I need a sport; a new challenge. Volleyball anyone? Anyhoo, I spent day 51 at the gym. I did some walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes and then hit the weights for chest and back:
Pull ups *superset with* different types of pushups
Lat pull down
Straight arm lat pull down
Chest flyes
Standing cable rows *superset with* more push ups!
Ab work with Birdy.
It was an odd workout, since I didn't feel exhausted afterward, like I worked hard. Felt kind of blah... Since it's getting warmer out, it's about time to take this workout to the streets!
Congrats to Harlem Red for making it 30 days! Awwwww yeeahhhh!!

Volleyball? Let's do this. Downtown Brooklyn or somewhere not too far from work, an evening session during the week (preferably Monday or Wednesday.)
Day 31 meals:
Breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: salad w/beets, egg, feta cheese, TJ's penna w/meatballs
Dinner: salad, TJ's white cheddar mac & cheese
Snack: nuts, green apple
Day 31 exercise:
ab work
carrying 2 heavy bags of food from TJ's to train to home
arm work - 3 sets of 8 reps curls, lifts, circles, out, up, down, back, etc.
Day 32 meals: Taco Night
Breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: new place on John St! Russian pizza place... 1 slice pizza, 1 small thing, like a toddler-sized pizza with no sauce, just dough and potato or something, portion of baked ziti w/meat sauce, small chicken noodle soup
Dinner: 2 tacos, bit of grilled chicken, forkful or two of beans, rice
Snack: nuts, very small piece cake, berry pie, munchkins, fruits, 1/2 donut (small office party and then refreshments at info session after work)
Day 32 exercise:
ab work
30 minutes brisk walking
I really should have done much more than that yesterday evening, given the crap I ate during the day!!
